IT audit and consulting
An IT audit for Mauritian SMEs reviews security, licensing, backups, network, and compliance, and delivers a costed action plan.
Most SME leaders discover the real cost of their IT when something breaks. A ransomware attack, a botched migration, a supplier audit that flunks the controls. Investing in IT without an audit is like renovating a house with no inspection: you pay twice. We look at everything: security, licensing, human dependencies, hidden costs. You leave with a prioritised report and a concrete action plan.
Prioritised report delivered within 5 working days. 12-month action plan included.
What we do
- Hardware, software, licensing and supplier contracts inventory.
- Security review: perimeter, endpoints, backups, identities, user awareness.
- Review of single-person dependencies (is your 'IT guy' a critical risk?).
- Cost analysis and possible over-billing identified.
- 12-month prioritised action plan with indicative budget and order of battle.
Who it's for
For SME leaders who want a clear view before they invest. Also useful pre-acquisition (you're buying another company and need to know what you're taking on), post-incident (outage, leak, attack), or when your current IT provider is no longer up to the job.

Common questions
Do we need everything documented before the audit?
No. Part of the work is exactly rebuilding the inventory. You give us admin access and the contracts you can find; we figure out the rest from the systems. If nothing's documented, that's where we start.
Will the audit name our current provider?
The report describes what's in place and what's missing, not who's responsible. You decide what to do with it. Most clients use the audit to fix things with their current provider, not to replace them.
Does the audit require a follow-on contract with Hexona?
No. The audit is a stand-alone deliverable. You leave with the report and the action plan, free to execute in-house, with another provider, or with us. We'd rather you pick us because we're useful, not because we locked you in via the audit.
